Thanks to the organisers of the Worlds, it was another great event and we appreciate how much work went into it from the UK end, the French end and also the Australian container organising end etc. What a great bunch of people!

All so very true Sophie,

Also a personal thanks from me to Barnsie for pulling together the Split International Repair Team (SIRT) to fix the French boat and mine before the next day.

To everyone in the boat park who loaned me clamps and stuff just to get the job done

Also thanks to the guys in the boat repair shop who allowed us to use their equipment - all for a few beers. They were great and there is an international language when it come to blokes and fixing stuff - I couldn't speak french and they couldn't speak english, but we got the job done.
