On-line Registration - Not Working

Postby Bluey » Thu May 20, 2010 11:06 am

I just tried to use the on-line registration and it will not work for me because there is no listing for Australia in the Country pick list and this is a mandatory field.

Is it going to be fixed so I can enter in time to make the early bird saving?

I am probably being very stupid but I cannot find an on-line entry form on the Carnac site. Can someone send me the link?

As for Australia not being on the list, I suggest you select Austria!

That looks like an entry form rather than on-line entry

That's what I used, but there was no listing for Australia, so it wouldn't work for me!

Ah - a bit below the belt.

Trouble is I would have to learn to drink warm beer!

I found the same problem...i suspect its also like that because in europe you need a license to sail, which is included on the entry among other things like that.
I just emailed mine to the email on the bottom of the entry form.

Payment was more difficult - i went to the bank and it took 2 of them to work out what was written on the NOR. There is a fee involved though ($32 AU, or $27 AU if you do it online - ANZ). I did get an email the same day i did the payment that said i could do the payment on arrival in Carnac...may be best option for people.

It's to do with your pension, Crispin.

I'm going to have a go tomorrow......I'll ask if they have wheelchair access!

If there is an upper age limit then I am in real trouble!

I just checked again and Australia is still not a competing country :?

It didnt work for me either - Same issue.

I will contact the yacht Club now. We will postpone the late entry date as it is clearly broken. I have tried it on 3 different computers. Same issue :(
