Crews union

Postby KathynotB14 » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:27 am

Seeing as we have now lost Pete (boooooo) a new crews union representaive is needed, one for the uk fleet and one for the fench fleet (Andy youve allready been nominated for the ozzys)

Primary function is to make sure the crews get there own back on the crew union night ( with a bit of oragnising involved)

If i dont get volenteers i will select some poor sucker

k

PS you ur coming get ur Bloody names up on the list !!!

Andy says that must make him world crews union president and he'll hold some gerrymandered elections on arrival if necessary. He is working on function for layday or afternoon prior depending on function if any. He will bring equipment for said crews union event...

Andy

One note of caution, remember the injuries from the last bar run to some of the sailors (not me thank goodness) in Hobart, plus the culture of the country hosting the event.

So would suggest, making sure Lorimer tones it down a little this time

Spoil sport....

Take no notice Andy.. Bring on all the abuse the crews can muster.

Helms rule  Crews are weak and need the abuse to keep them focused..

Note - If i recall it was a crew that took the beating last time.. so might be in your own interests to play nicer.. perhaps just limiting it to liver and character abuse with a dose of humiliation..

never thought i would say this but Mark i agree with you, being a helm now i tend to agree that crews are weak and need some slapping around to keep them in line!!!!! :P

At present we done need to give the crew as slap as both of those out at bough beech on sunday went in for self harm. I can understand that from barnsie's crew but Al was sober for once.

Ummm, during this maelstrom of helm abuse, I'd just like to politely enquire if Helms will bring their own choice cuts of meat to this meet? Or have the Crews got to offer up the offal?

Sweetbread? or am I talkin' bo__ox?!

Kind regards

Let me see - needs someone decisive, visible, persuasive, and maybe even LOUD. Hmmm only one candidate - Leaky! Are there enough ballot papers over there in la-la land? Or is this a constitutional outrage and the polling booths have closed?

i think cadre with his comments on the French crews compensating for the lack of strength in their skippers arms is worthy of a crews union title.
