CARNAC BLOG - UPDATES HERE!

Postby Alan Davis » Wed Aug 26, 2009 10:54 pm

We will try to keep a daily update running on the forum for those who aren't here (not that you deserve it...), at least the Aussies have an excuse...

Currently on the Portsmouth - Caen ferry with a bunch of SB3 sailors and Tags is here somewhere. The "party boat" is the St.Malo ship with Wattsy, Hayes etc. probably trading beer for cabin space.

In the bar - with the slightly incongruous bar with UV lighting, dry ice, a school disco and a 15ft big screen on the dance floor showing (wait for it...)... golf. WTF!

More tomorrow no doubt

Think everyone was too busy sailing, bimbling and socialising to break out the laptops, even with free wifi at the clubhouse.

I'm sorry - the first race (and maybe some beer) affected my rational thought process.

You have a thought process, you kept that pretty quiet.............. :D

A sad day for the east coast contingent, 776 maybe leaving the country. :(

I can now throw insults at everyone.... :P
