Measuring Boats

Postby barnsie » Tue Aug 25, 2009 2:36 pm

Folks

The aim is to measure all boats on Thursday afternoon. So you'll need to have masts down, one kite, jib, mainsail, rudder and daggerboard, available for stamping and measuring of sails.

Also we aim to weigh
737 racks
777 racks
783 hull
784 hull/racks
785 hull/racks
786 hull

Those not arriving till Friday, please notify us now as we need to know.

There will be a list/order for measuring on the notice board on our arrival. So please be there from 1200 till approximately 1600 when measuring teams will be stood down.

Bye for now

Likewise 757 & 777 may not arrive until after 4pm on Thursday so will either require measurement and weighing Thursday night or Saturday morning.

given 777's hull is over weight I'm pretty sure there won't be a problem.

Phil

Only weighing the racks suspended abbove the boat not the hull as we already have the numbers.
Thanks for the input though.

Friday boats

If they can all be placed in the same area which we will indicate, we should be able to process the 8 or so boats fairly qiuckly.

See you there.
