Hopefully 787 will be there if Chris 'Deep Throat' Downham passes his trial at Hayling on Saturday. First outing since Carnac - can't wait!

Both myself and Kathy are crewless so rather than having us kill each other in one boat is there anyone out there up for crewing?

Drop me a PM if interested or have ideas?

What no Toby

Speak to Tony and see who may be available from the SW. Charlie Game, possibly a McGrath etc.

Andrew (T) is George available as he'd be good for Kathy.

Mark also try Jamie as he is doing a crash course  in B14 sailing on Sunday  .

I might be available, although I'm somewhat out of practice as I haven't sailed since the nationals and even then that was only the second time I've sailed this year!

Luckly RJ is being a star and looking at pubs for me, but this will be the last time!!! Kick kick paul and rob:)

PS watch out mark has some new I14 party games to try out on us....

sooo hopefully we will have a pub near a travelodge or simular for eveyone to stagger to soon.

Should be quite a warm one! that'll be novel compared to the start of November at Grafham. Wind might be a minor issue.

Has the Saturday night location been decided yet?

Hi all,

Since there is no camping allowed on site (?!?!) it somewhat limits the option for prolonged drinking at the sailing club which is disappointing to say the least! Does anyone know what the Cherub guys plans are for après sail? Are most staying at the travelodge down the road?

I'm more than happy to pick up the batten from Kathy (not before time I hear you say!) but a heads up on where you are all staying would help coordinate drinking plans massively!

Cheers, looking forward to another good weekend!

Right,

after a bit of Google based research, The Black Dog pub is about 0.5km from the entrance to QMSC (anyone been there before? is this a bad idea?) It looks like a reasonably sized place so should be able to accommodate both fleets, so I nominate this as our starting point. On the same stretch of road are a host of eating establishments including fish n chips, pizza and an Indian Restaurant (although this looks small), so we will be catered for if all else fails.

Rooms at the Premier Inn (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=T ... CCoQ8gEwAQ) are going pretty quickly, but I've just checked and there are still rooms available. Reading the Cherub forum, a few of them are also planning on staying here, so we should be in good company (depending on your take on Cherub sailors!)

The Cherub guys were planning on curry and beer down by the river, but this seems like more than a drunken stumble away from the club, or nearby hotels, but they hadn't confirmed anything just yet.

Sadly, the forecast looks disappointingly light (http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=77) but at least it should be warm and sunny for beers on the club balcony! :)

See you all there!
