"Pack the right stuff when you go to a meeting!"

For the European fleet to have nice discussions. I'll put the kettle on.

Perhaps don't forget a robust diary as good family planning will be useful in plotting your B14 championship hopes........DARREN!

This is more what to pack when going home from an open meeting.

Barnise, I gave to Leeky the soggy yellow kite you left in as sail bag with you name on it next to where your car was park today.

I'm told that it is a new kite that you left, lying about?!?!

So, you want me to dry it and iron it for you today? Dilemma.....Hummm...What should I do???

Still, this oost was always going to be a close run thing between your kite and the Bines/Gibbons Circus entertaining the public yesterday with a very loud ripping sound while leaving thier mast behind on the road.... Mmmmm, nice.... The Club did issue you two with a prize.....

So, just remember, forgetting gear can happen after an event as well as before!!!

what not to pack

Postby Barry » Mon Oct 26, 2009 12:59 pm

Don’t pack your boat up while your cat is sleeping.

One of the 29 er sailors were unpacking the boat a Weymouth and it started to move. Only to find a very distressed cat in it, which was in need of a home for the weekend?

never forget to pack some decent windsurfing kit if traveling to a meeting - especially if it's weymouth!
Having to hang around on saturday and borrow Tims windsurfing kit (many thanks!) we decided it was worth a 4 hour return trip to plymouth on sunday am to use ours on the Portland speed strip.

Er, perhaps when you travel 8,000miles across continents to take part in a really important regatta, it's a really, really good idea to remember your Tactick..... Geri is a bit crap at her starting, not to mention her sailing angles without one........

Almost as useless as Leakster falling out of the boat when he gets excited about a reasonable position!

Hey, who cares???!!!? Warm breeze, warm water and great company....we've had it all again!

(Trying to whip up Carnac attendance now....Lets look forward to at least 60 boats????!!!?!?!

clarification - last post was LEAKSTER masquerading from my laptop... I would never ever suggest that Geri was crap at starting, or anything else, she was hard to get past. However, Leaky did have some difficulty staying with the boat..

So, not content the starting comment and inability to stay on a fast boat he's now added the sin of masquerading to the list. Only four more to go.

What else has Leaky been up to... :?

Andy's soft, blistery hands were hands that hadn't been near a rope in many months. Pathetic really. Just remember to pack for Carnac: paw paw ointment...

Or nationals..

Time to revive this thread... for a certain Timmy Harrison.

In a blatant attempt to keep hold of the Nationals Trophy he erm.. forgot to pack it before he headed up North for pre event erm "holiday... sneaky training".

However myself and his much nicer brother dodged angry commuters and the torment of waiting for 45 mins at rush hour on waterloo station to rescue the trophy from his grasp..

You owe me Harrison :)

p.s. Way way way too many pie eaters in leggings waddling by.. Nope love the fluffy boots do not destract from the fact Lycra and big are a BAD BAD BAD combination.. I am traumatised!!! Shudder...
